The Avian Protection Society is an e-mail group formed in March of 2001 focusing on problems facing captive birds.  We post issues relating to neglect, abuse, rescue, rehabilitation, education, etc. We can offer referrals to avian rescue organizations and general advice on avian issues.  This site does not advocate the breeding of birds for the pet trade.
